Monday. Perhaps the most strenuous day of the week. Recovering from the joys of the weekend and getting back into the swing of work for the week. Perhaps you wanted to sleep in just a little more this morning to help curb the effects of Monday, but alas, that didn't happen. In fact it probably made your day a little more stressful. You were rushing out the door, spilt coffee on your lap on the drive to work and on top of that; you were probably worried about sluggish Monday traffic.
I thankfully don't worry about these things. My job is set up in such a way that I don't have to worry about this with Mondays. I work typically for 2 weeks straight and have two weeks off. Typically from Sunday of the first week to Saturday of the second week. I get to start my weeks of great with a little extra sleep. Yay! On top of this though I am pursuing a college education. I love business and engineering so here I am finding myself with school work in the mornings. I do online schooling through the local community college. I am currently working on my Associates in Business Administration as a way to keep me concentrated on school and to prepare me down the road for when I want to work on my engineering practice. More on that when we get to that.
I wake up, get coffee and typically open my lovely computer to see what's going on in the world. As you saw last night we had a Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse. I didn't see it because it was too cloudy and stormy here. But I saw all the lovely pictures that my friends and family took of the spectacular event. After that I check school work and get to work. I typically try to get through one or two classes a day; Commenting on the discussion board and posting as well as completing reading assignments, homework and any quizzes. All the fun things associated with school.
This week though we are packing for our move across the US. If you read my most recent post before this, we are moving to South Carolina to be closer to where we are looking to buy our house. This means saving money on traveling and expenses like that so we can focus on finding the right house. Fun stuff. We are pretty excited. Packing will be a pain in the butt because we have to narrow it down to what we can fit in our cars for now to avoid having to get a moving truck. But we will be back once we find the right house.
All this just a glimpse into one of my days off, particularly Mondays. Keep coming back as I post a few times a week.
