I've been slacking a little bit lately, I know. I got busy, but that is besides the point here haha... We have made some updates to the site!
You may have noticed when you came to the site to browse through content that we are hoping to collect your email address so we can keep you updated with new content we are publishing here as well as new deals and stuff.
Occasionally we like to be able to share some pictures with you that we post on our instagram page @AdventureKerrs on there. We post some fun stuff. Sometimes looking back on the last few years or even sharing the sunrise/sunset with you that we experience and see everyday.
But overall, we just made some small changes. We are doing Amazon Affliates too, and you might have noticed that on our content. It doesn't cost you anything, but if you want to support us you can click on any of the banners or ads on our page. We make a little money from them with helps us write better content and write more often because you know, not so many long hours working unpacking trucks (this is another post).
Anywhoodles, we just wanted to say hello and that we will be bring more content soon. Just trying to get moved out of the place we are in currently and into our new situation. Hopefully once these things pass, I will have more time to generate some good content for you all. For now, just expect some silly posts. Pictures maybe. Who knows. :D

It is almost time for the new year and many people tend to make resolutions to write more. I would like to extend the opportunity to write on the Undercover Dad site. I know that we do not get very many views here, but this is definitely an opportunity to express your fatherly thoughts. And yes, I know that there are plenty of other super cool Dad blogs out there, but not quite as cool as us.
So with that in mind, if you are interested in having a set of keys to the Dad Cave, let me know. Please send all serious inquiries to Seth.Kerr.OakTech@gmail.com
i look forward to more collaborative minds on the program.

I amgoing to ramble in the post, so bear with me as through writing this, I can get out what I feel I need to say. Being a father has certainly be an interesting experience. In the last 8 months I went from seeing my son born, to having a feeling of joy, to not feeling very much like a father or even connected to my son , to finally this stage where my son Oliver is getting mobile, laughing and growing fast.
I just wanted to come on here and brag a little on my wife. She is amazing, and by amazing I really mean she is amazing. She leaves me in awe of how much she is capable of and how much love she holds in her heart.
As you know, I am a store leader with CPR Cell Phone Repair of South Carolina. I had mentioned before that Elizabeth and I were going back to school. Well due to finances and some situations out of our control, that won't be happening. But what will be happening is we will be getting back on track with our finances.
Due to the economy of the oil and natural gas industry, I am not making the money I used to. I used to make enough money to more than support Elizabeth and I, but I don't anymore. I make less than half of my old salary with CPR. Elizabeth has had a difficult time finding a job until recently where she got offered a job at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Greenville, SC.
She not only will be the mother of my amazing son, but she will also be helping us get our finances straightened out so we can in the future buy a house. Something we have been longing to do, but since my pay has not been where it should be, we have found ourselves in a bit of a financial hole.
With Elizabeth working, we will slowly begin paying off credit card debt and start paying on student loan debt when that catches up with us starting in April. By then I should be moving up in pay and hopefully be put on salary and Elizabeth will get a pay raise after her 90 day evaluation.
But she is amazing. I love her to death because of the sacrifices she makes. She puts aside so much to be able to help me provide a future for our family. To be able to look forward to buying a house and growing our family. I can't say thank you enough to her. I can't ever do enough to show her how much I appreciate her sacrifice. But one day I hope I can. It may never happen, but I hope that one day I can show here how much I truly appreciate her sacrifice and her love and commitment to our family and our future.
I love you Elizabeth.
