Life has been going and going and going with things changing fast leaving me a little curious how to move forward with the blog. I am really trying hard to keep writing as much as I can, but I always seem to have about two hours at the end of my days to actually spend time with my family before I have to sleep for the next early morning at my current job.
And I'm not particularly complaining about the job that I have or being a little bit tired as I am in real need of income right now. But moving on from that I just want to give some personal updates to all of ya.
As I had said before I did find a good job. I'm currently working at the Lowe's Distribution Center in Statesville (currently the second largest? distro for Lowe's) where I am a receiving clerk. Basically I unpack trucks onto pallets and send them off to either sit on a shelf or go directly to a store. Mind numbing work for four days a week. It doesn't pay a lot but it is work.
We have been working to get Elizabeth a job, we are fairly certain she has one as we are just waiting on a phone call back to verify. Though she has been working with my mother to make sure we are able to get all of the products at Handmakerr up on the web. It's a pretty tedious process as we are inventorying again all the items we have to get a better sku system down.
Needless to say we have been busy. We are working hard to get back out on our own but it has been a difficult path. Long story short, we became victims of wage theft for thousands of dollars. We had to cut our lease and leave Tennessee and it has been a struggle so far.
If you have visited the site a lot, you will have noticed a donate button. You can donate money if you would like to help support us and the site. A lot of the money will be used to help make sure we can get our finances to a point where we can get into our own place again so we can function as a family with Oliver. Sadly we will not be able to afford the birthday party we were hoping for Oliver. But that's okay. We will do the best that we can.
Hope this helps answer some of the questions people have about the changes on the site as well as what is going on with us. I am hoping to be able to get some more in depth content posts for you all.

I've been slacking a little bit lately, I know. I got busy, but that is besides the point here haha... We have made some updates to the site!
You may have noticed when you came to the site to browse through content that we are hoping to collect your email address so we can keep you updated with new content we are publishing here as well as new deals and stuff.
Occasionally we like to be able to share some pictures with you that we post on our instagram page @AdventureKerrs on there. We post some fun stuff. Sometimes looking back on the last few years or even sharing the sunrise/sunset with you that we experience and see everyday.
But overall, we just made some small changes. We are doing Amazon Affliates too, and you might have noticed that on our content. It doesn't cost you anything, but if you want to support us you can click on any of the banners or ads on our page. We make a little money from them with helps us write better content and write more often because you know, not so many long hours working unpacking trucks (this is another post).
Anywhoodles, we just wanted to say hello and that we will be bring more content soon. Just trying to get moved out of the place we are in currently and into our new situation. Hopefully once these things pass, I will have more time to generate some good content for you all. For now, just expect some silly posts. Pictures maybe. Who knows. :D

Gosh... where do we start when it comes to bringing in the new year? It seems like some near impossible task of deciding what you want to do new for each coming year. Weight loss maybe? Start your own company? Perhaps. With some many possibilities it seems impossible to decide. And I definitely understand that struggle. It always feels like I have a billion and one ideas in my head waiting for me to execute. From a new way to recycle plastic bags and make it into filament for 3D printers, to a way to help people better manage their time. It's pretty tough.
It is almost time for the new year and many people tend to make resolutions to write more. I would like to extend the opportunity to write on the Undercover Dad site. I know that we do not get very many views here, but this is definitely an opportunity to express your fatherly thoughts. And yes, I know that there are plenty of other super cool Dad blogs out there, but not quite as cool as us.
So with that in mind, if you are interested in having a set of keys to the Dad Cave, let me know. Please send all serious inquiries to Seth.Kerr.OakTech@gmail.com
i look forward to more collaborative minds on the program.

So, here we go again. Many of you don't know this, because we have not talked to many about this, Elizabeth and I are moving. Moving to Nashville Tennessee. It has always been our goal to move there as that is where we feel most at home. The least stressed out. We can see clearly and think clearly. Everything just feels better there.
And maybe it is because of the collection of creative people there. The city of music. So much creativity flowing through the air. It is really hard not to feel at home. In a place that inspires people to create and explore. That is what we feel with Nashivlle. What is also great is the area has great food and is a great market for launching FullPlate. People are kind and accepting there. Everyone we meet has a story to tell and for a reason too.
Nashville seems to draw people looking for true purpose in their life. An outlet for their creativity. Many people seem to find out who they are in Nashville, and we want to find out who we truly are too. We want a place to express ourselves and know that other people ar doing the same thing. That people wI'll not look at you weird when you want to make a living cooking or painting or singing.
What at is also great is the area is teaming with new technology and information technology jobs. This means I'm in the right area to grow my tech skills.
The area offers so much for Elizabeth and I, and we can not ignore it. We can not ignore that we are not happy in Greenville. We are miserable and it feels like we are drowning here. We are finally in a spot to move so we are doing it. Completing our applications for apartments, interviews for jobs. We have this and can do it.
