School is a wonderful thing. It teaches so many new concepts and prepares young and old learners for highly skilled jobs in the work force.
Over the last few months, Elizabeth and I have been trying to decide if we are going to go back to school. We have decided that we indeed are.
Clemson University is fairly close, and offers great programs in fields we love so we are applying there with hopes of being accepted. Once accepted, we will begin working on our degrees. Elizabeth is looking into a 5 year Bachelors and Masters program in Biosystems engineering, and I am looking into getting accepted into either their Architectural program or their Computer Science program. I love both fields and it is certainly hard to decide which one I would choose from.
I have had a love for Architecture for a long time, and I do have this big dream of designing one of the tallest buildings in the world. It might be long before I even get to that point but I have to start somewhere. We are starting here.
We are tired of the financial situation we are in. We are drowning and not getting anywhere. We want fulfilling careers doing something that will impact and change the world. Not just sit around working in house keeping or fixing cell phones. Which please do not get us wrong. These jobs have taught us so much about hard work and where we want to go. But we do feel we can do so much better not only for ourselves, but for our son. It is our goal to provide a solid example of what it takes to make a living. Teaching Oliver hard work and dedication to dreams and visions.
This is entirely necessary to make a positive impact on this world. Even if it only affects a small handful of people, at least we changed something and didn't sit idle while the world passed us by.
